On Sunday, June 26th, Indigoverse & Firefly-Path got together to conduct another in a series of shoots for the Firefly-Path Fairy collection. Our ultimate destination would have us shooting at the glorious Balboa Park in the heart of San Diego.
SAN DIEGO, CA…
Sunday, June 26th, 2011
Our journey began the evening prior to the shoot. JoEllen met up with me at my place and we shuttled off in the ‘Starship’(aka my truck) for the next two hours on the way to San Diego, CA. A dear friend of ours offered his place for us to crash for the night, Demir is a most excellent host and an amazing Chef to boot. Our model, Christina was schedule to rendezvous with us the following morning for makeup, hair and costume setup.
Once she arrived, Jo wasted no time in getting her prepared. The weather had been overcast all week and part of tat morning, however, the marine layer was burning off to reveal a beautiful blue sky. The weather was perfect in the upper 70ºs and a subtle breeze was ever present =)
We had hoped for a breeze for the sake of the costume, Jo had designed long shear fabric that was light enough to pick up in the slightest breeze so this would prove to be a perfect day indeed.

Jo and I have been wanting to do this for sometime, but unfotunarely personal and financial reasons were the primary culprits for a while. I’m pretty stoked that we were able to do it again
