Thanks a lot man!,
Surprisingly it was the first shoot with no squinting or complaints from the model about the 4'x6' =)
It's a great reflector, but unfortunately the fabric rips too easily, this was it's 8th time out and it's already ripping at the corners :(
The whole set was intentionally desaturated in post, as for the shots you are referring to, I know exactly which ones you are talking about, I was really fighting
the sun and backlight haze at that point, so the contrast was low already.
You should see the originals, the color is so intense, it's sickening...lol

"Cheers!"

Ahhhh, the California Sunbounce. Those things are a trip. I have to feel for your model. The one and only time I used a 4X6 with gold, it was like a physical blow to have that thing focused on you. I wanted to know why all the models would stagger when the reflector was brought up, so I asked my assistant to focus it on me and SWEET JESUS THE SUN! AHHHHGGGGH! THE SUUUUUNNNNN!

I really enjoyed the shots where you made the model look like a miniature figure. The location seems like one of those rare places where you can open up the aperture but get far enough way to get that extra super nifty background compression effect so the whole think looks like you were out there with a 4X5 field camera.

I thought a few of the images posted near the end were a bit on the hot side. Yeah, I get the theme is fire, but the hue contrast is so low that everything seems to blend together. That's just personal preference though.

Thumbs up!
